Brent Barkman

Brent Barkman is the Head of Product for the Core Experience at Miro, where he focuses on optimizing the fundamental tools of the visual collaboration platform. With a career rooted in both engineering and product strategy, he has a proven track record of scaling high-growth technology services. Prior to Miro, he held various leadership and engineering roles at Snap Inc. from 2014 to 2020, where he contributed to the company’s massive expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Earlier in his career, Barkman was an integral part of the team at Amazon that transitioned Amazon Instant Video (now Prime Video) from its early stages into a top-tier global streaming service. Originally from Canada, he is also an entrepreneur and a frequent contributor to the product leadership community, specializing in building high-performing software teams and developing effective performance management systems.
